Pretty much I think the wiki sucks. It is incredibly lacking in useful content. A lot of information (at least on mapping) is copied verbatim from Hammer and therefore useless. A lot of other information reads like a dissertation. Not pleasant.

Maybe the more skilled community is afraid of competition from the upstarts.
Maybe the more skilled community is afraid of competition from the upstarts. I, being midway between upstart and experienced (I mapped a lot in the original HL though my skill was debatable) am trying my best to improve articles where I can, and more importantly, get those who know to start improving things as well.
