Perfect Dark: Source incluye más de un modo de juego. Se pueden jugar bajo las reglas de Juego libre (FFA, Combate a muerte) o con las reglas de juego en equipos, y cada estilo tiene sus diferencias.
Juego libre
Todos los jugadores son puntos blancos en el radar. El juego termina una vez el límite de tiempo se acaba o si un jugador alcanza el máximo de puntos o muertes.
Juego en equipo
Los jugadores tienen el color de su equipo en el radar. El juego termina una vez el límite de tiempo se acaba o si un equipo alcanza el máximo de puntos o muertes. Matar a compañeros puede quitar puntos como penalización.
La tabla de clasificación se ajusta por equipos en vez de por jugadores individuales.

Equipos

If more than one teammate are inside a hill when the timer reaches zero, for each extra team member, half of the full bonus points will be added to the regular bonus.
