Team Fortress 2 is the follow-up to Team Fortress Classic and the Quake mod Team Fortress, and is in development at Valve.
The game received an initial public showing at E3 1999, but media silence has been observed since then.
On 13 July 2006, Valve announced that Team Fortress 2 is still in development and is scheduled to ship alongside Half-Life 2: Episode Two. [1]
