We need to add a lot more kinds of custom attributes that can be added to a material in the Element Viewer, and I think it's also worth adding to each custom attribute what types of attribute it can be. Some custom attributes can be one of multiple different types, such as $color and $color2, which can be a color type, vector3 type or vector4 type (these are all valid and working according to my own testing in the Source Filmmaker app). - Alope, 2023-0108-2320 AEST

I am not sure if we need to add a list of custom attributes which cannot be added to a material in the Element viewer, considering if the list before itself is complete then readers can infer by the absence of a custom attribute that it cannot be added. Attributes that cannot be added, are attributes which cannot effect a change in the material under any type.
