:I've tested it myself, I used the existing Alyx facemap and modified the variables (as well are removed the $ambientocclusiontexture" string completely), and there was no noticeable difference.  If anybody else has any input on this, it'd be appreciated. --[[User:Glitchvid|Glitchvid]] 05:53, 10 June 2013 (PDT)

Looks like custom models in SFM appear transparent while AO is enabled. Adding the $ambientocclusion 1 to the vmt will fix some models
