Hey, I know this probably isn't the right place to put this request as there is no specific section relating to in-game bugs, but you've been quite helpful in the past with fixing bugs that people have pointed out in the developer wiki's, so I am posting in your message page "by default" so to speak. I would go through the support system, but unfortunately I never have been able to get any results that way.
Anyways, I have noticed a problem in both HL1 and HL2 relating to key bindings. Specifically, I can't bind the console key to anything else in either of these games, or in any third party mods for these games. I have tried finding several different workarounds, and nothing I have tried works. I have outlined the problem in more detail here:

Note I haven't gone through all of these steps in HL2, but as far as I can tell, both HL1 and HL2 use the the same code for managing mouse/keyboard inputs. What would be nice is if we could optionally have doom3/quake4 style console activation with control+alt+~ used to activate the console, that way you don't accidently activate the console while in the middle of a big multiplayer battle.
If you get the time, could you look into this for me? Thanks. If there is any problem with me posting this here at all, just go ahead and delete this message and I'll make no further mention of it.
P.S. Is there any way we can establish a wiki page for in game bugs much like that page for the UIBugs?
