:Checking Wikipedia, I see that you're right. I'll change the ModStatus template and change GoldSource back to GoldSrc instead. --MossyBucket (formerly Andreasen) 12:29, 9 February 2011 (UTC)

Whoa man, long time no see. I can remember back to when I was mega noob, and you had great patience with that. Nice to see you back.--MrFourVideoCards 22:56, 31 January 2011 (UTC)

Oh, hi! I'm glad to hear you've grown as a developer. =) I left mainly because I couldn't accept Jeff wanting to format all the entities back to grey/black (because at first his only argument was that it would take too much effort and time to change them all), and him reverting a major edit because he thought I "changed too much", and then life wandered on, but I can't really keep away. Every time I use Hammer I refer to this site, so it needs to be readable. =) --MossyBucket (formerly Andreasen) 23:03, 31 January 2011 (UTC)

Amazing New Tutorial

Here's the source of the "Amazing New Tutorial" stuff: Help:Editing#Creating_a_new_page - this basically establishes it as a sandbox without explicitly saying so. Thelonesoldier 19:43, 7 February 2011 (UTC)

Thank you! I edited that page, telling people to not actually create the page. (There's already a sandbox page, and I think one is enough.) --MossyBucket (formerly Andreasen) 19:51, 8 February 2011 (UTC)

To do

Just in case I lose my notes, I'll store a copy of my "to do" list here:

VDC edits to do: I need to go through all the mods templated to the "GoldSrc" engine, and change them to "GoldSource". The Template:ReleasedMod template (all the mods that use it) has to go as well. Check so that Mod_Page_Template does not conflict with the Help:Mod Profiles page. Check out: Template:DemoModSmall Make sure that covers all the Perfect Dark: Source entries. Instead of annoyedly telling noobs to fuck off, I should create a polite warning template connected to a deletion template (like "deletePOC|blahblah"), like the prod template one. Template:AlphaMod Template:AlphaModSmall Template:BetaMod Template:BetaModSmall Template:ReleasedMod Template:ReleasedModSmall These all exist in Category talk:Source mods. Check if they are obsolete and if so, flag for deletion. You can find a list of SP mods to template with Template:ModStatus here: http://developer.valvesoftware.com/w/index.php?title=Special:Search&ns0=1&redirs=0&search=%22%5B%5BCategory%3ASingle+Player+Mods%5D%5D%22&limit=500&offset=0 After all the mods in this list has been templated, there are always the other mod categories.

I've never seen GoldSrc written as "GoldSource". Even the Wikipedia article uses the spelling GoldSrc. It's probably better not to change it? Thelonesoldier 07:09, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
