Just a cool note, in the particle editor there is an... interesting renderer. It's called render_blob. It's how Portal 2 is doing the paint effects. However, it's odd that it can't open any particle system. --[[User:Foda|Foda]] 23:58, 19 July 2010 (EST)

What is "the embryonic in-game map editor seen in Portal"? Please do elaborate or include a link about that because I am really interested in learning more about such an in-game map editor found in Portal.--ThaiGrocer 23:02, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

I assume he was referencing po_edit but that tool was created by a third party and while nice technically it makes terrible maps as the resulting maps are save files and cannot have lighting. --Omnicoder 02:05, 17 July 2010 (UTC)
