If you just want to see how your changes will looks, you can use the "Show preview" button to the right of the "Save page" button. In this way these changes wont clog up the Recent Changes list. Then when you feel that you're satisfied, you use the "Save page" button. --Andreasen 07:28, 17 Aug 2007 (PDT)

From your email:

I just expanded the Left 4 Dead 2 article on Valve Developer Community with information on the L4D1/L4D2 controversy and delayed demo. You wrote that it wasn't suitable to have on VDC, but I'm not really sure I'm following you there. As I wrote at the discussion page, VDC is meant to contain all data relevant to modding and researching Valve, Steam and Source. I don't see how leaving out controversy that affects both developers and players in such remarkable ways is a benefit for the common developer and fan. Thus, I'd be happy if you'd let me know why exactly my contribution is inappropriate, and it should be up for debate.

No hard feelings.

My reasoning is:

# The delay no longer affects a single person on the planet. It's in the past.
# Neither the one-day delay of the demo nor the fact that the game is a sequel is relevant in any way to developing for it.
# Left 4 Dead 2 has received 1,673 page views in three months. Wikipedia:Left 4 Dead 2 yesterday received 15,000 views in one day.

I'm not against people knowing about these issues, I just don't want the pages of this site to become redundant and unloved duplicates of Wikipedia. Frankly I'd like to see every game page on VDC turned into a redirect there. --TomEdwards 11:12, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

:I see your point, and I'd like to see Wikipedia better utilized at VDC too. At present, however, VDC does make an effort to contain some of the information possibly existing at Wikipedia, and therefore our personal opinions are only remotely relevant. I'll leave it here, however, and let whoever cares decide what to do with the article (and the VDC/Wiki dilemma in general). Thanks for the contributions. --OVRKLL 11:20, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

Please don't start "vandalising" the wiki because your entry was removed, it's not VALVe's fault that there were last minute bugs. Solokiller 15:07, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
:To what are you referring? --Toke Skovbo Krainert 17:54, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
:Well, whatever it is, I'm sorry if I did something against the principles of the site. I honestly just figured I might just as well help out by cleaning up some stuff to make up for my apparent mistakes with L4D2... I'm still pretty new to contributing. --Toke Skovbo Krainert 18:55, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
