This is a mod I started a while ago but I was basically doing it all by myself. When I decided to change how I was going to do it, I realized I needed some help.

You are combine soldier starting in the Citadel of Half-Life 2 around the time that Gordon gets captured. You are the tech services manager for the combine. Aperture Science Laboratories is one of your partners in the operation. When they fail to send over their report you are sent over to them to collect it. While you are there you end up being captured and put through some of the tests as you are in Portal. When you escape you continue to learn more about APLabs and you acquire new skills that help you get back to the citadel, ALIVE.

You are working at your office in the citadel when you receive a notice that Aperture Science Laboratories, one of your partners, has had an explosion and communication was cut off. The explosion caused the power to the facility to be shut off and the emergency backup systems have not been activated. You are assigned to command a team to navigate the facility and, if deemed safe, turn on the emergency power. After you turn the power on, on your way out of the facility, you and your tram are ambushed and captured. Like in the original Portal you wake up in a stasis chamber and are put through a series of tests. As you go you also manage escape and explore the facility. As you roam you come across new technology and acquire new abilities to aid you in finding all of your teammates and getting back to the citadel. ALIVE!
