Your problem with hammer
The problem you're having with hammer is that you're using an episode 1 or orangebox game/mod with a different version of hammer, e.g. ep1 with ob, or ob with ep 1. If you are using an official game, ensure that you are using the correct engine, if you are using a mod, check to see which engine it uses and set hammer to that engine version.
