I'm 15 year old Andrew McGowen, who has been programming since 11 and mapping since 13. I find the two quite experiencing, especially since I'm getting a head start at a younger age. Unfortunately, most of my programming experience is in Managed C#, not Unmanaged C++ like the source files are.

Who am I?

I'm 15 year old Andrew McGowen, who has been programming since 11 and mapping since 13. I find the two quite experiencing, especially since I'm getting a head start at a younger age. Fortunately, I'm learning a lot about native C++, and I'm starting to understand some of the source code.

Current Project

I'm currently working on a map called "rp_kappa_spacestation" - click here for more details.

Other Maps

Some of the other maps I've started are as follows:

  • rp_kappa_spacestation - a space station RP map, consisting of 9 main sectors (somewhat inspired by rp_bahamut).
  • rp_gammalabs - a mostly underground laboratory complex, somewhat like black mesa.
  • dm_spacestation - a different version of my space station, but this time it's a deathmatch (HL2) map.

Modeling

YAY FOR 3DS MAX 2008!!!
