So, valve has a wiki page now. I always figured thats what the VERC was for... but I guess someone at valve was like "wouldnt it be really cool to have a help page that the community adds to?!!?". Im sure if Chris was there he may have rolled his eyes and said "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK IVE BEEN DOING FOR.... MORE YEARS THEN THIS COMPANY HAS BEEN AROUND?!!?". But then again, he may have not. :P

Hi. My name is Jeff Pritchard. I'm a 21 year old male living in Phoenix, AZ. When Half-Life first came out, I was amazed. Amazed to the point that I wanted to edit it, understand it, and work with it. And to do that, I needed a place to learn from, because I couldn't do it all myself. That lead me to the HLERC, where Chris Boktich was kind enough to have an editing site set up. The HLERC was my first online community. My first time using forums were HL related. My first time in an IRC room was HL related. My first publishing of my own content for others to read was HL related.

Over the years, I would like to think I have significantly matured. Along the way I've helped and hurt people, cheered them up and pissed them off. The HLERC-VERC-Collective are all a permenant part of my history now. Lets see if this Wiki is a continuation of what has been the core of my online life for many years now.
