moved back to command

What's the point of having template on this page and using shortcut cmd ? If every single use of the template is going to be {{cmd}} then might as well just leave the whole thing on Template:cmd --Nescius (talk) 13:44, 23 August 2025 (PDT)

In my opinion, the name of the template should be clear to everyone in any part of the wiki. The only exception is the code for articles, as this is somewhat "personal".
Perhaps I was wrong to give the shortcut as an example, effectively making it the main one, but the idea is similar to that in most other wikis - in articles you often see technical names (short and catchy), and in all other places you always see the full names (long, but easy to read).
At first, I just wanted to specify the name via {{LanguageBar}} and also specify it in categories, but working with this is more complicated than moving the template and allowing the use of shortcuts.
