Is there a reason for not having a separate article for Water Hazard? I think we should.. After all, it's got a whole different aspect to it with the waterboat and all.. Jupix 14:29, 23 Mar 2006 (PST)
- Coz Water Hazard is a chapter inside Route Kanal—ts2do 16:47, 23 Mar 2006 (PST)
- I'm not entirely sure you're correct. Route Kanal is a chapter title and not a place, afaik. Route Kanal and Water Hazard are adjacent chapters.
- I don't remember any diegetic reference to the canals as being named "Route Kanal". The name is a play on "root canal" ("A treatment in which diseased tissue from this part of the tooth is removed and the resulting cavity is filled with an inert material."[1]) referring to the Civil Protection's efforts to remove the "diseased tissue" that is Gordon Freeman. Simultaneously, it also references that you are in the canals and, by way of the K, the Eastern European flavour of the game's setting.
- On top of that, the Water Hazard section is a very different environment, way outside the city bounds and not particularly similar in architecture or gameplay, aside from the obvious presence of water. It merits a separate inspection, in my opinion. Giles 02:42, 24 Mar 2006 (PST)
