TFC Physics play a large role in game play.  Unlike many mods for HL1 and HL2, TFC is not supost to be realistic.  Bunny-Hopping(Link?), also known as BHopping, is common place.  However, it doesn't stop there.  Conc Jumping and Rocket Jumping are also very common.  Conc Jumping is the art of throwing a concussion grenade at the ground and using it's shock wave to lanch yourself high into the airRocket Jumping in done by jumping and launching a rocket at the ground.  This has a similar affect to Conc Jumping but in rocket jump you lose health, conc jumping just makes the screen wave like you were drunk and without any health loss.  Rocket Jumping can also be combined with a Grenade Jump.  This would be done the same way as a normal Rocket Jump exept the player has a fragmentation hand grenade primed.  The player does the Rocket Jump right as the Grenade goes off to give them yet another boost.  The Pyro can also do a jump with his napalm grenades.  Often called stack-jumping, this is done by throwing multiple of these grenades in the same spot on the ground and using them to give themselves a small boost.  A Demoman has two ways of jumping.  One is a pipe jump which is done by blowing his pipes as he jumps ontop of them.  The other can only help his teammates on a server without friendly fire(link?) and takes some time to set upA Demoman can set up a det pack jump.  This is done by setting a det pack where your team may need a jump up.  Teams members can jump ontop of the det pack until it blows, throwing them up into the air.

Physics

TFC Physics play a large role in game play. Unlike many mods for HL1 and HL2, TFC is not supost to be realistic. Bunny hopping, also known as "bhopping," is common place. Concussion jumping (conc jumping) and rocket jumping are also very common. Conc jumping is the art of utilizing the shock wave of the grenade to launch one's self through the air at high velocities. This can be accomplished by throwing a grenade on the ground and timing a jump with the coinciding detonation of the grenade or by doing a "handheld" jump where the grenade is never thrown. No health penalty is incurred with a conc jump but the effect of the concussion (best described as a seemingly random motion of the screen) take effect as normal. Common to other first person shooters, rocket jumping in accomplished by jumping and launching a rocket at the ground. This has a similar effect to conc jumping in that it launches a player at an accelerated rate through the air. A rocket jump cases a loss of health due to the damage incurred from the rocket explosion. One is a pipe jump which is done by detonating his pipes as he jumps over them. The other can only help his teammates on a server without friendly fire (common on public servers and in attack and defend leagues). The Demoman can perform a det pack jump by setting a det pack where his team may need a jump up; teams members then jump on top of the det pack until it detonates, throwing them up into the air.

Server Side Mods

There are a few server side mods for TFC. The most common is NeoTF which adds an array of features, including the bounce pad, grab hook, new kinds of sentry gun type defence buildables (8 types) called Multi-Guns (MGs), class specific special equipment, and much more.
