One of the most popular online action games of all time, Team Fortress Classic features over nine character classes -- from Medic to Spy to Demolition Man -- enlisted in a unique style of online team warfare. Each character class possesses unique weapons, items, and abilities, as teams compete online in a variety of game play modes.
Classes
There are 10 classes in TFC:
- Scout
- Sniper
- Soldier
- Demoman
- Medic
- Heavy Weapons Guy (HW)
- Pyromaniac (Pyro)
- Spy
- Engineer
- Civilian
Physics
TFC Physics play a large role in game play. Unlike many mods for HL1 and HL2, TFC is not supost to be realistic. Bunny-Hopping(Link?), also known as BHopping, is common place. However, it doesn't stop there. Conc Jumping and Rocket Jumping are also very common. Conc Jumping is the art of throwing a concussion grenade at the ground and using it's shock wave to lanch yourself high into the air. Rocket Jumping in done by jumping and launching a rocket at the ground. This has a similar affect to Conc Jumping but in rocket jump you lose health, conc jumping just makes the screen wave like you would have drinked alcohol without no health loss.
Server Side Mods
There are a few server side mods for TFC. The most common is NEOTF which adds stuff like bounce pad, grab hook, new kind of sentry gun type defence buildables (8 types), class specific special equipments and much more.
