We believe it is safe, yes. They were attempting various XSS because we were running an unsupported version of Mediawiki. We had manually patched a number of known issues, but took the opportunity to get everything upgraded to 1.27 LTS, just in case. An unofficial Discord server for the Valve Developer Community Wiki
I think the community morale may be improved by having a discord server. It would actually do wonders for communication and coordination for things that would be best for multiple people to handle simultaneously. It'd also keep people coming back and contributing to the wiki if they're reminded of it more.

We believe it is safe, yes. They were attempting various XSS because we were running an unsupported version of Mediawiki. We had manually patched a number of known issues, but took the opportunity to get everything upgraded to 1.27 LTS, just in case.
