A very rough guide to physics impact force as used on prop_physics entities in Half-Life 2 (Episode 2). I was unable to test the phys gun in this test. Also all tests were point blank so bear this in mind.
Tested values are as follows: 500,1000, 2000, 3000, 4000,5000, 6000, 7000,8000,9000,1000,11000,12000,13000,14000,15000,20000,25000,30000,35000,40000,45000 and 50000
Note: ">" before a number means more than (P) = Primary Fire (S)= Secondary Fire
- Pistol > 500
- SMG > 500
- AR2(P) > 500
- Crowbar > 3000
- Grenade throw > 4000
- Shotgun(P) > 9000
- 357 > 10000
- Shotgun(S) > 15000
- Crossbow > 20000
- Grenade > 30000
- RPG > 30000
- SMG (S) > 30000
- AR2(S) > 50000
