Currently creating an alternate Half-Life 2 "sub-story" which takes place during Gordon's escape of City 17 in the canals. (Kind of like Half-Life: Opposing Force, different story takes place along side Half-Life's timeline.)
Current project: ReCON (subject to change)
Story: You are a rebel directly working for White Forest. You have been assigned to extract <extraction object here> from the Combine in a hidden laboratory near the coast and return it to base.
Setting: During Gordon's escape from City 17 through the canals.


You are <insert name here>, a covert infiltrator for the Rebels. Your mission is to extract intelligence the Combine are collecting to further assimilate human beings. It's believed the Combine have an underground facility which is camouflaged by a pre-war industrial building located in the southern districts of the Kanals.
I jinx myself if I say anything about my progress, but I will post the first map up for testing if anybody is interested. I've taken notes and have to fix several things I found during a debug play through. After I fix these, I will upload the map for playtesting. (Note: it will be in beta phase, and will not be 100% complete as far as elements of the game. The map will be complete, though.)
 
The Combine will be too busy going after Gordon in the canals and fighting off hordes of antlions coming from a nearby hatchery. But this isn't to assume you won't encounter any resistance. The Combine know they will be reassigned to off-world assignments if they fail protecting this intelligence.
 
You will require Half-Life: Episode 2 to play when it is complete.
 
If anybody wishes to help me with testing, optimization, story-line progression, and etc., please don't hesitate to notify me of your interest.
