:All of the above. GoldSrc and Source don't use strict irl-based dimensions; they just go by what feels right in-game. It makes sense that Gordon would be 72 inches tall, but a 96-inch door is kinda absurd. HU to inch conversion
Online it says that HU are also 0.75 and 1.25 inches, has anyone been able to fully confirm which is true?

- A unit is a unit; it's up to the program to make mean something. By default, importing Gordon into Blender results in Blender saying that he's 72 meters tall, because Blender treats units as being equal to meters by default.
