The Battle Grounds places you in the time period of the revolutionary war in America. American rebels are fighting for their freedom and the troops of the british crown are trying to keep control of the colonies.

The Battlegrounds is the only revolutionary war mod for Half-Life 1 & 2. The Half-Life 1 version is available and the Source version is well underway and a unstable build is available to play. BG is open source under the LGPL licence, It's source has been used in several other mod projects.
