I have been combing through forums looking for a solution to the problem with STEAM not validating my connection to my local server, and have only come across one solution...

Although this solves the problem i was having for the testing, i have no ability to distribute and test because all the servers are ... LAN. what is going on with the SDK and why are there not more publicized updating procedures.

Either way, im not too happy with how things have been carried about in the last month with this SDK release/update and would like to have seen more documentation. It seems that its been carried about on a whim and without much regard to those in development. Maybe i am not used to this, but from the background i have in programming if i were to be working and releasing in this manner i would not have been at any of the jobs i had for long.
 
Rant finished. What are your thoughts?

I am still having trouble with the steam validation. I got past it some how with one of my mods (coincided with the appid 211 thing) and now i am doing the same to my other mod and no such luck...
