I originally created and posted this tutorial to ThinkingWithPortals.com where it remained for a while until it was inexplicably removed before the mapping wiki there shut down. I used the web.archive.org archived version of this file from while it was still there to create this tutorial. So thanks to web.archive.org and Valve Developer Community for helping me bring back what the community deemed unneeded (for reasons unknown to me -- I think this is pretty cool).
