* Hah, you're right. Well, they're just concept, I probably won't use them. I do like the last one though, at least in general, having a link for a mod to the Valve storefront. We should put that in for all mods that are in there, to see Valve's 'review' of it. --AndrewNeo 14:44, 27 Oct 2005 (PDT) | * Hah, you're right. ***Yeah, actually, lowercase Greek letters would work well for alpha and beta. For pre-alpha... well, maybe pre-alpha mods don't belong here anyway. And instead of the R icon there could be some sort of "download" icon, which links to the mod's download page (er... is that possible in wiki?). Then, if we don't distinguish between R and IP, we're left only with X, which could be... I don't know... a picture of an wood axe stuck in the ground. —Maven (talk) 18:35, 27 Oct 2005 (PDT)
****Well, pre-alpha could be the greek A with an upside down karot (^) underneath. But I agree, they don't really belong here. The X should probably be a red circle with an X through it. --AndrewNeo 07:07, 28 Oct 2005 (PDT)

The third-party templates look like ESRB ratings. For example, if you put the X one on a page, people will think that the reason the mod was canceled was because it was obscene. And the circle-slash thing would probably exacerbate the effect. Unfortunately, I don't have anything constructive to add. —Maven (talk) 14:36, 27 Oct 2005 (PDT)
- Hah, you're right. Well, they're just concept, I probably won't use them. I do like the last one though, at least in general, having a link for a mod to the Valve storefront. We should put that in for all mods that are in there, to see Valve's 'review' of it. --AndrewNeo 14:44, 27 Oct 2005 (PDT)
- I've been playing around (in my sandbox) with alternate looks. There definitely should be some icon. If not letters, I don't know what. The first one is the original, Ts2do likes the third, and wisemx and I like the last one. (Not that this is a vote; just feedback.) —Maven (talk) 17:39, 27 Oct 2005 (PDT)
