This is a very large mod that I started a while ago after playing through the Half-Life Series and Portal. It takes place parallel to and after the original story of Portal. It extends a different perspective and shows a whole lot more about Aperture Science Laboratories.

You are combine soldier starting in the Citadel of Half-Life 2 around the time that Gordon gets captured. You are the manager of tech services. Aperture Science Laboratories is a partner in your operation. When they fail to send over their report you are sent over to them to collect it. While there you end up being captured and put through some of the tests as in Portal. When you escape you continue to learn more about APLabs. You also acquire new skills that help you get back to the citadel, ALIVE.

This single-player mod for Source is currently in alpha development.
