You're smoking! Awesome job on linking everything. Please keep it up. --wisemx 17:47, 26 Oct 2005 (PDT)
Hello!
Thanks for the welcome! Pistol Whipped
You should put a link for bot-assisted—ts2do (talk) 13:40, 19 Oct 2005 (PDT)
- Oddly enough, I recently put one on my user page. —Maven (talk) 17:14, 19 Oct 2005 (PDT)
No...I mean when you post the thing have the comment be a link...also...are you gonna finish func_physbox_multiplayer?...it inherits func_physbox—ts2do (talk) 17:24, 19 Oct 2005 (PDT)
- Oh. That's an excellent idea. I'll do that. And I'm done with func_physbox_multiplayer — I figured it didn't warrant another set of templates; I just said that it has the same keyvalues, flags, inputs, outputs as func_physbox. I certainly don't mind if you want to do something else with it, though. —Maven (talk) 17:27, 19 Oct 2005 (PDT)
Maven-bot
I think I have this bot thing figured out now. Maven-bot is the bot's account. Testing to begin shortly. —Maven (talk) 17:57, 19 Oct 2005 (PDT)
Ok, maybe not "shortly". Maybe "longly". —Maven (talk) 18:05, 19 Oct 2005 (PDT)
I've adapted a suite of Wikipedia bots to work here. So far they can log in and read pages, but until/unless the admins update the XML export the bot won't be able to do anything useful. —Maven (talk) 13:37, 20 Oct 2005 (PDT)
Prop gallery
- Sir maven...check this out: http://www.plastic-warfare.com/PropGallery/
I coded my own prop gallery—ts2do (talk) 22:05, 19 Oct 2005 (PDT)
- Sir maven...check this out: http://www.plastic-warfare.com/PropGallery/
I'll check it out tomorrow. For now, must sleep. If you have an automated way to take pictures of props, though, I'd be thrilled to hear it. —Maven (talk) 22:12, 19 Oct 2005 (PDT)
it's done in php...if I'm on, you can view the source directly from my computer:—ts2do (talk) 22:55, 19 Oct 2005 (PDT)

How bout that source?—ts2do (talk) 16:08, 21 Oct 2005 (PDT)
- What about it? It looked cleanly done. Lacked comments, but was clear enough anyway. I think that Valve would be doing themselves a favor to use your gallery code on their site (maybe linking model detail pages to wiki pages), but even if you donate it they probably wouldn't want to run third-party code on their servers. <shrug> —Maven (talk) 16:16, 21 Oct 2005 (PDT)
well it's opensource...so you know—ts2do (talk) 16:48, 21 Oct 2005 (PDT)
another + is the php outputs easy notepad readable html that's also w3c 1.1—ts2do (talk) 16:49, 21 Oct 2005 (PDT)
You used my note template, I love you! lol—ts2do (talk) 15:02, 22 Oct 2005 (PDT)

Model gallery mock-up
that third thing isnt called submodels...it's the breakable models part...and that template won't always work out because not all models are like that—ts2do (talk) 16:40, 24 Oct 2005 (PDT)
- So I'll make it more general—this is only a first pass. I won't apply it to anything real until it's been reviewed. What should submodels be called? Gibs? —Maven (talk) 16:45, 24 Oct 2005 (PDT)
I really don't thin this is the best way to approach a model gallery...breakable models can use other keyvalues too so this isn't very easy to do with simple templates—ts2do (talk) 18:05, 24 Oct 2005 (PDT)
- There can be multiple templates and even optional parts. I admit that I don't know much about modeling. Would you give me an example of a few models that would require radically-different tables? If I can handle them, great; alternately, perhaps that will convince me to give it up. —Maven (talk) 18:09, 24 Oct 2005 (PDT)
List of ents...now u gotta categorize them lol—ts2do (talk) 19:10, 24 Oct 2005 (PDT)
well if I got a host for mine...I'd not hesitate to build on my system—ts2do (talk) 20:38, 24 Oct 2005 (PDT)
it's very cluttersome...it makes a load of pages of models—ts2do (talk) 20:47, 24 Oct 2005 (PDT)
We already have a load of pages about entities... That doesn't seem to be a problem. —Maven (talk) 21:07, 24 Oct 2005 (PDT)
Abstract Mapping
What do you thinK? Abstract Mapping—ts2do (talk) 19:45, 25 Oct 2005 (PDT)
- Weee! Thanks. —Maven (talk) 19:47, 25 Oct 2005 (PDT)
- This is a great idea, good luck with it! --TomEdwards 10:00, 26 Oct 2005 (PDT)
- BTW, you might be better off using categories. --TomEdwards 10:02, 26 Oct 2005 (PDT)
I know but I tend to see it AFTER I do an edit...maybe it should be made a full page height and red?—ts2do (talk) 16:52, 26 Oct 2005 (PDT)
- Ok, if it's accidental then I'm not so annoyed. Yeah, maybe making it taller/bolder/redder would be useful. —Maven (talk) 16:55, 26 Oct 2005 (PDT)
I vote 3rd one on ur sandbox—ts2do (talk) 15:17, 27 Oct 2005 (PDT)
- The last one, page bottom, but put a break between the sentences. --wisemx 15:30, 27 Oct 2005 (PDT)
