wings is a free open source polygonal and subdiv modeller based on Mirai and Nendo.

For those on a limited budget, this is a good place to start learning how to make 3D models like hats, items and weapons.

users can make meshes, UV's and can bake geometry colors into textures with ambient occlusion.

because of it's history (it is a per feature copy from the symbolics modeller "Geometry" aka Arc/Mirai/Nendo) wings has the collected knowledge of over 20 years of 3D polygonal modelling tricks [1] hidden inside it's sequential context menus.
