Creates a link icon and/or link text to Playable Playable. Also provides the ability to use raw template data for other purposes.

Usage

This Steam hardware certification template (Verified, Playable, etc...) is usually intended to be used on places like infoboxes or system requirements.

 This template is usually written in a single line without spaces(?).

To use it, insert {{Steam Playable}} into the desired page and specify the parameters described below to the right of the template name in the following format:

{{Steam Playable|parameter1=value|parameter2=value}}
Icon-Important.pngImportant: The template should not be used just because it looks "pretty" compared to a regular link.

Here is a list of the most suitable places:

  • The beginning of an article about the software linked to by this template (for example, PUNT);
  • Tables with a list of software (such as the list of games released on Source or the Level Design category);
  • Discussion page;
  • User page.
  • In regular link ("1" text appearance) or icon-only mode in a in-line list of several games (e.g. saying something is (only in Half-Life 2 Portal Portal 2))

Its use anywhere other than as mentioned above is strongly not recommended due to poor page readability (icons and colorful links draw too much attention and clutters the page where it is not needed). Use with extreme caution and ignore the suggested list only when absolutely necessary.
