Should this page exist?
This project is using leaked code and I'm not sure what's our stance on such projects but pretty sure it shouldn't be allowed to have a page --mv (talk) 12:13, 3 July 2026 (PDT)
- Probably not? In a similar vein, I'm personally surprised the Xash page hasn't attracted Valve's attention (unlike what happened when someone made pages documenting the HL2 "beta"). Granted even Hammer++ started out on leaked code, but at least that isn't open source. I'm not Valve's legal team, though, so I didn't want to take any unprompted action on either of the pages without proper discussion.

- It seems that in this case, it’s better to focus not on the restrictions on Steam or this wiki, but on exactly which projects Valve prefers to block. In my opinion, the Source Level Editor is harmless enough that the presence of leaked code wouldn’t bother Valve at all.
- If we were to remove articles about any software that uses leaked code, there wouldn't be a single useful tool left on this wiki.
