Problem with the tutorial

Hi, I stumbled upon this page on random, I figured I'd come over and ask because I'm having troubles after following the instructions word for word, I noticed the weapon level was gone from the custom weapon I added when in the video and the image on the page I noticed it's there, it also never appears in my loadout despite being able to select it, even after waiting the 30 seconds the bug footnote says at the bottom.
