hostage_entity is a model entity available in Counter-Strike Counter-Strike. A hostage, which must be brought to either an func_hostage_rescue, info_hostage_rescue, or info_player_start to rescue.

Icon-Important.pngImportant:Hostages are use Quake-style pathing, attempting to beeline to the leading player instead of using the nodegraph or navmesh. As such, hostages cannot traverse ladders.
