How can i do this page in spanish

Hi, I and a friend want to do this page in spanish. We have seen that there are one in Japanse, can somebody help me? THnaks (User:Elhispano)

Responding at User talk:Elhispano. —Maven (talk) 17:06, 18 Sep 2005 (PDT)

Hehe, i am a noob.. need help

Hey maven, sorry but this is new for me, how can i add a category or link from main Source engine Wiki page to a Spanish version, thanks!

No problem. Just add at the bottom, where SDK Docs is the name of the Spanish page without the :es. —Maven (talk) 05:16, 19 Sep 2005 (PDT)
And on the Spanish page you can put {{Template:Otherlang2:es:en|SDK Docs]] to link to the English page. (If my translation is incorrect, please fix it at Template:Otherlang2:es:en). —Maven (talk) 05:21, 19 Sep 2005 (PDT)
The above information is no longer correct. See Valve Developer Community:Alternative Languages for the new-and-improved way. —Maven (talk) 05:47, 6 Oct 2005 (PDT)
Also, put at the bottom of every Spanish page to make it show up in Category:Spanish. —Maven (talk) 05:23, 19 Sep 2005 (PDT)

Well, the inputs are valid for every entity but don't always yield results...Sometimes valve forgets stuff—Ts2do 06:28, 19 Sep 2005 (PDT)

Then it's important to find out how often it yields useful results. If the answer is "rarely", then it should be placed in individual entities as a !FGD entry. If the answer is "almost always" then we should leave it in the template. Anywhere in between is debatable, but in that case I'd favor documenting it per-entitity as a !FGD. I suppose testing is in order. Maybe I'll get to that in the next day, or week, or something. —Maven (talk) 06:42, 19 Sep 2005 (PDT)

well anything that can utilize rendercolor or renderamt can use these's really a matter of looking into the code —Ts2do 20:16, 20 Sep 2005 (PDT)

That would be much easier. —Maven (talk) 20:23, 20 Sep 2005 (PDT)

Yeah , disponible o habilitado are sinonymous of availible, and the translate isn´t final, i need more time to release a final version, thanks!

Help me

How do you get that little talk thing next to your name like you've got? --Pon 22:47, 23 Sep 2005 (PDT)

Go to 'Preferences' -> 'User data' and set the 'Your nickname (for signatures)' field to what you like. In my case I set it to —Maven (talk) and checked 'Raw signatures (without automatic link)'. —Maven (talk) 10:46, 25 Sep 2005 (PDT)

it works!—ts2do (talk) 21:07, 25 Sep 2005 (PDT)

Lets see if it does for me... --—Pon (talk) 02:19, 26 Sep 2005 (PDT)

Huzzah! —Maven (talk) 08:45, 26 Sep 2005 (PDT)

Thanks for cleaning up those physical entity submissions. --wisemx 09:15, 4 Oct 2005 (PDT)

Actually, I only did the one. For the others I only added the cleanup tag. —Maven (talk) 09:29, 4 Oct 2005 (PDT)

I'm sorry sir...I changed the format a while back and there was just too much content already based on it to change it...—ts2do (talk) 20:07, 5 Oct 2005 (PDT)

No critisism here. I'm glad for the templates—I'm just still not completely sure how to apply them. (It would have saved me a lot of trouble if I would have earlier realized that it was based on the FGDs rather than just Hammer's SmartEdit.) —Maven (talk) 20:12, 5 Oct 2005 (PDT)

it took some time for me to decide how I wanted to present them....I just decided to do actual kvs coz they can be used even if you don't have any descriptive names...coz they can be added in the "DumbEdit"—ts2do (talk) 20:15, 5 Oct 2005 (PDT)

It's a great system. Good work. <smile> —Maven (talk) 20:16, 5 Oct 2005 (PDT)

Send an IM to sir...oh btw I didn't do the grammatical error in prop_detail it was from the fgd—ts2do (talk) 20:17, 5 Oct 2005 (PDT)

My apologies, but I don't IM. And since I try to keep my wiki life anonymous, this is my only contact point. Do please excuse my irrational paranoia. —Maven (talk) 20:20, 5 Oct 2005 (PDT)
I hadn't even looked at who put up prop_detail. —Maven (talk) 20:21, 5 Oct 2005 (PDT)

Omg you're so Mavenisticts2do (talk) 20:22, 5 Oct 2005 (PDT)

lol...nice!!—ts2do (talk) 20:24, 5 Oct 2005 (PDT)

I don't like your in fgd template...coz it should just say which game it's in... valve made some entity mistakes in fgd stuff—ts2do (talk) 13:45, 6 Oct 2005 (PDT)

You have a point. Since the addition of the game-base template, there's less need to list FGDs anymore. —Maven (talk) 13:54, 6 Oct 2005 (PDT)

this should be discussed more because it is helpful to point out entities that are in all source but aren't in the base fgd

It would be a convenient place to note when an entity should be in an FGD but isn't. path_corner and these entities come to mind. —Maven (talk) 14:58, 6 Oct 2005 (PDT)

should be a kv movelinear—ts2do (talk) 12:40, 8 Oct 2005 (PDT)

feel free to do what you want with scripted_scenets2do (talk) 13:24, 8 Oct 2005 (PDT)

Btw...vphysics triggers all have that motion moveable flag—ts2do (talk) 17:31, 8 Oct 2005 (PDT)

Is that !FGD or are my files out of date? —Maven (talk) 17:33, 8 Oct 2005 (PDT)

yes it's !FGD—ts2do (talk) 17:38, 8 Oct 2005 (PDT)

thank you sir...also consider releasing the source for the bot...or maybe don't coz then pages with stuff that needs to be changed would pop up everywhere....feel free to share it with tho =p—ts2do (talk) 17:37, 8 Oct 2005 (PDT)

I don't mind releasing the source (into the public domain); if I do I'll probably post it at User:Maven/entitybot (although I'm not sure whether that's strictly proper use of the wiki). It uses C# 2.0 (you'd need at least VS2005 Beta) but it would work on earlier C# if you remove the generics and redo the UI. If anyone's still interested despite that, I'll post. —Maven (talk) 17:49, 8 Oct 2005 (PDT)
Post! Post! :D —Pon (talk) 17:58, 8 Oct 2005 (PDT)

you should also add boolean recognition—ts2do (talk) 18:03, 8 Oct 2005 (PDT)

That's already in. (Unless it's not working?) —Maven (talk) 18:07, 8 Oct 2005 (PDT)

I'll be away for several days. So if I'm not answering, it's not because I hate you and want you to die. —Maven (talk) 18:42, 8 Oct 2005 (PDT)
