To all: Heard about the HL2 Kids project?
Is there really a need for all these entity entries? Anyone can look up their properties from Hammer. It's the explanations that matter. --TomEdwards 06:15, 2 Jul 2005 (PDT)
I definately believe so. The copied entity list on HL2world gets a ton of traffic, this being because many Source mappers at times need to browse the list, and even though the same information can indeed be brought up in Hammer for those of us that create tutorials, for others, a list like this is beneficial as we are writing tutorials. I'm 43 so it's like note paper for my failing memory. ;-)
With those being the benefits of a complete on-line entity list, what would be any negatives? --wisemx 07:11, 2 Jul 2005 (PDT)
Well, OK. But be warned that I'm going through the AI entities and I'm not going to waste time detailing Name or UserOutput4. ;-) --TomEdwards 07:18, 2 Jul 2005 (PDT)
Fair warning eh. . . --wisemx 07:46, 2 Jul 2005 (PDT)
Nice work on all the entities, wise. Don't forget to add them to Category:Entities
...Noted, thanks. I'll continue to work on that end of it, and try to stay out of Tom's way at the same time.
BTW, any new ideas for our HL2 Kids project? I've already done a Roller Coaster, Paddle Boat and Ferris Wheel, currently working on another ride where the player enters the Buggy and it takes them on a journey. The Paddle Boat will be used for a River Boat ride in conjunction with a Ghost Train ride. --wisemx 09:49, 2 Jul 2005 (PDT)
...Oh man that's sick! :) Rock on bro! Contribute that to the project and you get a star, I mean you get to be a Star! LOL Sweet. ;-) --wisemx 10:14, 2 Jul 2005 (PDT)
