Thanks for the cleanup work on VMF_documentation. When you write something that long you tend to loose your ability to spell/logic check it. if you plan on sticking round you should probably give yourslef a page :) --Angry Beaver 14:55, 21 Oct 2006 (PDT)

Heh, I don't feel quite ready to make an article for myself. I'm planning on waiting until I have something release worthy before I describe myself. As for VMF Documentation, I've been working on "VMFLib.NET", so I've been referring to the docs and experimenting, fixing things as I see them. (Aside:Lose not loose. Pet peeve makes me want to edit your text.) --Kateye 18:11, 21 Oct 2006 (PDT)
I would argue but i feel short on effort. My english isn't bad, its my typing. and anyway thats exactly why I wrote thoose, I'm kind of half using themself right now :) but I wont say why its something I'm not good enough to do right so I don't want anyone to know till I can get it right, if I knew how to do .net I might make use of that work :) --Angry Beaver 19:45, 21 Oct 2006 (PDT)
I don't want an argument, just pointing out the spelling error because I have a pet peeve about it. Anyway, .net isn't hard. What are you using, C++? Managed Extensions are easy enough to learn, and that's what VMFLib.NET is being written in. If you want a C-like language designed for a managed environment, you can try C#. If you're using VB... well, you're already using .net. Like Python? Use Iron Python. If I did some research I could even make VMFLib.NET into a COM compatible library so that you can use it in almost any language. At the moment, though, I just want to make it work. --Kateye 12:20, 22 Oct 2006 (PDT)
Didn't mean to argue jsut felt the need to defend my ability to sue my own language :) and I'm about 80% done learning C++ I'm in my third semester and I'm looking at taking the optional fourth so if its in C++ I'm going to be happy. While I've got a good grasp of C++ code I'll be honest if I say I'm unusre how all the different types of coding and project managment fit together. --Angry Beaver 14:25, 22 Oct 2006 (PDT)

Crap... didn't mena to put that on main page *shrug* I can never think straight at work, im sure its a co-incidence :) --Angry Beaver 16:00, 21 Oct 2006 (PDT)

Yeah, I was wondering why you put it on the main page, but you fixed it before I got around to doing so myself. I guess I should fill in the empty article or something... --Kateye 18:11, 21 Oct 2006 (PDT)

Wow good work on the VMF. page--Gear 18:10, 22 Oct 2006 (PDT)

Progress

Just wondering how your getting along? Some time in October last posted from you an its almost the end of Novemeber I've learnt a few things that lead me to a couple of question about the inner approach your using for VMFLib. Just send me an e-mail with the contact info on my user page if you check this. --Angry Beaver 16:44, 23 Nov 2006 (PST)

Real life is getting in the way. Have final projects and finals to work on. Mostly all I've done since my last update was work on the test program for testing the use of VMFLib.net, like the ability to add/assign visgroups (already in the VMFLib, built a GUI for it in VMF_Build), add entities, etc. —Kateye 14:49, 4 Dec 2006 (PST)
