Why is this "special" user related page in Tutorials and Programming category? --King2500 00:26, 31 Aug 2005 (PDT)

It will be a single place where people can go to view all the links to the tutorials/info that I have provided on the wiki. What do you think? Is it good, bad. I'm not sure of the idea my self... --Created by: X 01:25, 31 Aug 2005 (PDT)

Make tutorials etc. available as proper articles so that others may properly edit and rewrite them, and join the hive-mind that is the Valve Developer Community!
Seriously, wikis are designed for collaborative work, and do expect things to be 'edited mercilessly'. If you don't like a change someone makes, then revert it - but trying to keep track of attributions beyond the page history is somewhat futile. So join us! :-) --Cargo Cult 00:59, 31 Aug 2005 (PDT)
Exactly. The purpose of a wiki is to share information, while this kind of seems like you're trying to... Hoarde credit... I don't know lol. --Pon 01:11, 31 Aug 2005 (PDT)

My page has been edited and the tutorials put in there proper place. My Createdbyx page is now what it is intended to be a list of links to my contributions and possible future contributions that I have made, as well as any links to software utilities I have made or will make. --Created by: X 01:25, 31 Aug 2005 (PDT)

Why not put it in your user page? --Pon 01:33, 31 Aug 2005 (PDT)
Done so already (evil laughter!)
Createdbyx: a typical wiki culture is quite difficult to get the hang of at first, so don't feel we're being deliberately obstructive. It's only because we love you, and feel you have many valuable contributions to make. :-) --Cargo Cult 01:38, 31 Aug 2005 (PDT)
Thanks Cargo :D --Pon 01:36, 31 Aug 2005 (PDT)

Just overwrite your chapter logo image. I don't wish to be rude, but it wasn't a very good example. :-) --TomEdwards 12:33, 16 Oct 2005 (PDT)
