== re: [[Talk:List of L4D Models]] ==
New users are the lifeblood of any wiki site. Please do not casually threaten them with banning. Unless the user is clearly only interested in vandalism, a lot of discussion should occur before banning is brought up as a remedy of any dispute. --[[User:JeffLane|JeffLane]] 13:04, 1 Jan 2009 (PST)
:I wouldn't put it that way., but hey. I was just reffering to what someone else said, which was the truth. --[[User:Craziestdan|Craziestdan]] 13:45, 1 Jan 2009 (PST)
== $ssbump ==
What does "used directly instead" mean? --[[user:TomEdwards|TomEdwards]] 19:11, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
:You '''must''' type it inside the exe window to make an ssbump,  whereas the other commands are paremeters/optional but not needed... --[[User:Craziestdan|Craziestdan]] 19:13, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
:: A parameter doesn't have to be optional. :-P Bear in mind that you also removed it from the article outright... --[[user:TomEdwards|TomEdwards]] 19:29, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
:::I removed it because it will need putting in the section that explains how to make the ssbump, but as you guys can't, what's the point putting it there. It shouldn't be mixed with the other commands because they are used differently, and it's not even a paremeter. --[[User:Craziestdan|Craziestdan]] 19:38, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
::::The only difference is that it doesn't bother with a keyword. It's used in exactly the same way otherwise (unless there's something odd going on with the tool itself that I don't know about). --[[user:TomEdwards|TomEdwards]] 20:20, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
== Table border ==
Thanks for the complement, without the border present the sky list layout just isn't as readable. I still think it looks a bit off compared to how it looked with the table formatting on the old VDC layout, but it should be fixable with a nice template. I tried the new <nowiki>{{standard-table}}</nowiki> tag first, but it just didn't look quite right. --[[User:Brandished|brandished]] 01:16, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
:No prob. If you find a even better way, feel free to edit the [[List of Dreamball Skyboxes]] for me too :) --[[User:Craziestdan|Craziestdan]] 02:36, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
== Links to game main game / mod pages ==
I can see the redundancy, but I still think the level design pages should still have links back to the article categories. Maybe a "See Also" link? --[[User:Brandished|brandished]] 03:41, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
:Yeah that sounds good. I totally missed the point, I'd thought you added it to tell people what the page was for. --[[User:Craziestdan|DannyS]] 03:55, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
::Heh, I simply got tired of clicking on the mod game article pages by accident when I wanted to go to the level design page. I've probably done it at least 30+ times so far and I doubt I'm the only one. It's not likely users would come to the Category Level Design page if they wanted general info on a game anyways, although having a link to those articles in the specific category pages would help for those arriving there by accident. --[[User:Brandished|brandished]] 04:13, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
== Dreamball namespace ==
Some of the articles you're creating for Dreamball are at URLs that make them look like they're for Source in general (e.g. [[Creating and Using Buttons]]). What would you say to moving all documentation concerning the mod to the Dreamball [[meta:Help:Namespace|namespace]], like [[Dreamball:Creating and Using Buttons]]? [[Dreamball]] itself would stay put of course. :-) --[[user:TomEdwards|TomEdwards]] 13:12, 1 May 2009 (UTC)
:I'll have to agree on that, I was thinking of this after I typed them all up and saw how general they look. I'll redirect them later to their new names. Thanks. --[[User:Craziestdan|DannyS]] 15:30, 1 May 2009 (UTC)
::On [http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Using_Wikibooks/How_To_Structure_A_Wikibook Wikibooks] they use the forward slash delimiter for subtopics.  eg: <nowiki>[[Dreamball/Creating and Using Buttons]]</nowiki>.  The nice thing about it is the page gets a "Back to parent" link automatically added to the top and it also allows sysops to move all subsections at once by moving the parent. Just something to consider. --[[User:Brandished|brandished]] 00:44, 2 May 2009 (UTC)
:::That's another option. There are advantages to namespaces too though, not least that once they're registered with the site software they can have custom CSS. Mod teams being able to create their own themed sections of the VDC would be great encouragement for them to use it. --[[user:TomEdwards|TomEdwards]] 13:04, 2 May 2009 (UTC)
