Still learning a little on how to use the wiki (mostly how to use the boxes and stuff) check back soon though

Authoring pages

While we appreciate your work, this is a wiki, pages belong to noone, therefore please avoid claiming them. I'd also like to suggest the usage of the preview button, which I usually also forget to do. And finally, what is this thing about Admin:Boebi? --Baliame 06:29, 27 Oct 2007 (PDT)

I do not say the page belongs to me, I say I created it. Its just a little sort of credit to me. And the Admin:Boebi thing was something I just tried, thats all. If you look, you see I changed it back 5 seconds after. I mean, theres no sandbox or anything for that, is there, so I just tried if something like that was possible. And thanks about the preview button, I'll keep it in mind. --Boebi 11:14, 27 Oct 2007 (PDT) EDIT: Alright, I just discovered that the page didn't delete itself, and I am sorry! I though there was nothing left of it. I just wanted to test if it was possible, it was possible, and i changed it back, but apparantly the page didn't delete. Again, sorry --Boebi 11:16, 27 Oct 2007 (PDT)

If you must have credits please just create a Discussion page entry on that article with the credits, don't add them to the main article, even if it's hidden. --Frostbite 11:21, 27 Oct 2007 (PDT)

Alright, thank you. I think I'll just forget about it, sorry about the trouble. --Boebi 11:23, 27 Oct 2007 (PDT)

Not really trouble, it's just that it's a tad bit annoying when you have credits in the main article. Also anyone could goto the history page and see that you've started the page, another thing you can do is have the pages you created on your User Page. --Frostbite 11:25, 27 Oct 2007 (PDT)

I have it on my user page :) And I removed my credits from the Advisors page. --Boebi 11:27, 27 Oct 2007 (PDT)

Boebi, we appreciate your edits/updates for the wiki pages. As said by yourself you've choosen to let the people know which edits/updates you have done. Now you had some edits/updates done, but it's credited with a single line for each thing you have done. If you are smart, you can refer those people to your Contributions list. For each edit you can add a single Summary line below the article you've editted. This line will also be present on that Contributions list. It's easier for you...--Jurgen Knops 12:19, 27 Oct 2007 (PDT)
I am adding summery's now, but I'd like to keep it this way now :) Just adding it to my userpage :) Thanks though --Boebi 02:20, 28 Oct 2007 (PDT)

false info

Chell never caused a super portal, we don't know what happened to borealis but portal is after the combine invasion, therefore Black Mesa had already gotten their funding. Also don't add the endings of games in an article without the spoiler tag. --Frostbite 14:04, 28 Oct 2007 (PDT)

Sorry in that case, I got the information from here: http://www.hlportal.de/?sec=forum&site=thread&thread_id=11080

As I said on that page, I haven't completed Portal myself, I am just writing down what I read. Ill remove that part, and add spoiler to the page, thanks. --Boebi 14:07, 28 Oct 2007 (PDT)

Yeah also it's speculation, and that doesn't belong on a main article. --Frostbite 14:09, 28 Oct 2007 (PDT)

It's hard to see the difference of a speculation and a fact these days.. lol --Boebi 14:11, 28 Oct 2007 (PDT)
