I have seen people hit this limit on CS:S etc, but the overriding themes contained within the map is extremly poor optimsation, please use basic optimisation techniques like proper usage of func detail. This is also problematic in Garry's Mod. Several Garry's Mod mappers don't use VVIS when compiling, and as a result, the Vertex Buffer overflows.

32MB is plenty of space for vertexes in my opinion, but it seems that this is easy to go over without proper optimization.
