Is there something like baked particle systems, so the collision issue isn't too bad for computers? --Jike 17:38, 21 February 2010 (UTC)

There are such things as "Particle Snapshot Files" that can be used to initialise particle positions, but I don't think they are documented at all yet. --Artfunkel 03:28, 28 July 2011 (PDT)
