I wonder if this would trigger a VAC ban? --Holtt 12:41, 24 Jan 2006 (PST)

Highly likely if you ask me, for GoldSrc at least. --TomEdwards 12:56, 24 Jan 2006 (PST)
I assume it would, if they look for things in the middle of the game and the OpenGL engine. In any case, this program actually looks pretty cool. --AndrewNeo 16:51, 25 Jan 2006 (PST)
I installed the program and the such. It wouldn't work with Half-Life 2 (it looks at OpenGL, HL2 is DirectX) and yes, assuming that Valve checks for non-standard OpenGL DLLs, you would get banned by VAC. You have to use a different OpenGL DLL to get the interceptor to work. --AndrewNeo 13:03, 30 Jan 2006 (PST)
I doubt it. Valve says VAC never produces false positives. I believe they make it check for specific programs in memory that are known to be cheats. --DBN 22:53, 12 Sep 2007 (PDT)
