This tutorial links to another tutorial (http://www.sourcewiki.org/wiki/index.php/Resetting_the_Map) that is no longer available. Anyone know where to find it? --Wildfire 11:05, 2 Feb 2007 (PST)

I think there are a number of errors on here, im a complete newbie to programming for source, so i am probably wrong, but the "initialspawn" code seems to have incorrect letter cases, and misses a ;. As i say, im probably wrong, but if i get this tutorial to work i will try to make some corrections. --Theholygod 02:32, 17 Sep 2007 (PDT)

I found the code on web http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Resetting_the_Map ~~--

Am I missing something here? I'm quite new to Source programming but there's no function in the hl2mp_player or c_hl2mp_player files for InitialSpawn. However, there is in normal player.cpp. Are things different to this tutorial in the Orange Box code? --X6herbius 03:29, 16 Aug 2008 (PDT)

Hey, most of this tutorial seems good until the part where it tells you to use a dead tutorial, I managed to find it but it's for scratch code while this tutorial is for hl2mp?

also seems valve already has code for mods to reset maps so it's not really needed but in the tutorial it leaves you with code such as m_bGameRestart, which isnt defined anywhere what is the false/true value, so compiler can't compile and hence I'm stuck as I dunno what the bool is supposed to have for its true/false values.

any help? can't even play my mod anymore in the state it is in now! <.<

I tried following the tutorial, but at points I can't find the variables you're referencing. Sometimes they're bools instead of int. HAs the HL2MP code been changed?
