:I don't see how the torus is useful at all, every time I create one, the vertices don't align to the grid, and if I do align them, then the faces wont be true faces (vertices to a given face won't be aligned on a plane).  Should use tetrahedrons, you can't go wrong with them.  --[[User:4-Legged Tumor|4LT]] 14:34, 1 Jul 2008 (PDT)

Anyone know how to do the object shown in the image? --Daedalus 21:02, 26 Jan 2007 (PST)

Its just a quater circle of a quater torus curving upwards --Angry Beaver 10:00, 27 Jan 2007 (PST)

Epic Failure

The "add height" option is completely worthless. The shapes it makes look nice, but open the "find problems" panel and hit "fix all" to see its true form. Torusfailure.gif

This is true, but I'm doing some testing to see if it makes any real impact in basic gameplay. Forget shadows at the moment, let's assume the tube is as bright as possible. --GreyMario 22:43, 2 Feb 2008 (PST)

I don't see how the torus is useful at all, every time I create one, the vertices don't align to the grid, and if I do align them, then the faces wont be true faces (vertices to a given face won't be aligned on a plane). Should use tetrahedrons, you can't go wrong with them. --4LT 14:34, 1 Jul 2008 (PDT)
