What are you doing, DutchMega? That seems to be a turret model - not a turret brush. --Andreasen 10:48, 12 Sep 2006 (PDT)

Oh.. oke.. (don't) shoot me. I first wanted to use it for an programming article to fix func_tank in multiplayer... --dutchmega 02:36, 13 Sep 2006 (PDT)
I'm just asking. I've never tried the func_tank out. Just wanted you to double-check. =) --Andreasen 02:48, 13 Sep 2006 (PDT)

So far as I know, the bunker gun is a func_tank and a prop_dynamic. The prop_dynamic has the model set. I just wanted to add a picture where the func_tank is used... --dutchmega 03:02, 13 Sep 2006 (PDT)

Well then I guess it's in order, if you mention that its a picture of a prop dynamic commonly used with the entity. =) --Andreasen 03:07, 13 Sep 2006 (PDT)

HELP!!!

HELP!!! Nothing works for me! The turret looks like its firing but no bullets come out. HELP! --Darthkillyou 19:46, 26 Apr 2007 (PDT)
Singleplayer?—ts2do 23:12, 26 Apr 2007 (PDT)
Yes it is.--Darthkillyou 16:57, 5 May 2007 (PDT)
I had the same problem; it's easily fix'd. Just set the ammo type to AR2. --Sortie 07:28, 14 May 2007 (PDT)
It's fixed now. Actually, since the bullet keyvalue was obsolete, and it was replaced by the Ammo keyvalue, I got it to work by manually adding in the bullet keyvalue and setting it to "3" (ar2). Also, simply setting the Ammo type to ar2 doesn't work for me for some reason.--Darthkillyou 21:02, 16 May 2007 (PDT)

Turret in Multiplayer

If anyone cares I have recently found away to make a turret that works in multiplayer. Its easy to make, you just parent a env_laser and its target to the func_tank. Then add an oput on the func_tank that turns on the laser when it is fired. --Malco4 13:16, 3 Nov 2008 (PST)

Removed tutorial link

I have removed the following text from the entity description:

( www.editlife.net has a tutorial on making npc and player usable turrets To do That tutorial is already in the Internet archive, maybe it should be carried over to the VDC?)

The time has long passed to bring this content to VDC; the internet archive is no longer archiving that page (as it seems the domain owner has disallowed crawlers in its robots.txt, which IA is respecting) and thus it would seem it is no longer accessible. --Nacimota Talk | Contributions 14:22, 2 June 2012 (PDT)

It is accessible. I'll put the link back. --PluMGMK 08:58, 18 July 2013 (PDT)
