Source Filmmaker You install Source Filmmaker the same way you would install any free game on Steam.

Minimum System Requirements

Source Filmmaker requires a substantial gaming system to run well. Certain laptops with embedded graphics chips, older Intel HD Graphics or smaller screens are unlikely to be able to run Source Filmmaker, or may cause other graphical and performance issues.

Dual-core highly recommended for Windows 10/11
System memory (RAM) 2 GB
Hard disk drive (HDD/SSD) 17GB (40GB for all official content packs)
Workshop content depends on their sizes.
Video card (GPU) NVIDIA GeForce 200–series card or better
AMD Radeon 3000–series card or better
DirectX 9 compatible
Other Monitor with at least 1280 x 720 resolution (1920 x 1080 or higher is recommended)
QuickTime (No longer recommended because it is no longer updated, only use them if the program requires it for certain features).
Note.pngNote:If you encounter a white line running across your viewport, this indicates that your hardware does not meet these requirements. If your hardware does meet these requirements, there is a fix (linked below).
