I want to stress that if the job queue is not running, categories and special pages such as Special:WhatLinksHere may not update at all. It also affects template updating and link colors, if I'm not mistaken. Basically a core component of the software. Pinsplash (talk) 20:43, 29 July 2018 (UTC)
