<Half-Life 2> basehlcombatweapon is a point entity available in the Half-Life 2 series. It is an invisible, non-functional weapon. Basically a coding template for creating new weapons.

This entity is also in the code for [Portal] [Portal 2]. Its functionality is not guaranteed.

In code, it is represented by class CBaseHLCombatWeapon, defined in basehlcombatweapon_shared.cpp.
