The QC command $cdmaterials defines the folders in which the game will search for the model's materials, relative to <game>/materials/.

Note:Subfolders will not be searched.
Tip:Filenames are defined by the $body SMD(s).

Syntax

$cdmaterials <path> <second path> ...

Example

$modelname		"weapons/shell.mdl"
$cdmaterials		"models/weapons/"
$body		shell	"shell_ref.smd"
