BSPFix
bspfix is a command-line tool designed to convert Half-Life: Blue Shift maps to the standard
Half-Life BSP format and vice versa.
Contents
Overview
bspfix effectively converts bs maps, allowing them to be used once again with modder tools. Moreover, BSPFix has the capability to convert regular Half-Life BSPs to the
Half-Life: Blue Shift format if necessary.
History
The release of the Half-Life: Blue Shift expansion by
Gearbox Software resulted in a modification of the format, rendering the maps incompatible with map decompilers and other tools created by modders.
Usage
To utilize BSPFix, simply drag a BSP file onto the executable and confirm the conversion by typing y at the Command Prompt.
