Portal Stories is a mod-in-the-making for portal, It started around November just as a test when I was trying to create some portal maps and releasing them as a mod. after a week I met a few people who agreed helping me making the tiny little mod of mine a great mod full of story, great puzzles, full of ideas and awesome in many ways. So I began to develop a story for the game and I got some help from other people making side-stories for the game. Now the story has grown into a complete, funny, epic, unique and addictive story for the game.

The Story
The story is set before the events that happened in the official game. an unofficial prequel so to speak. You play as Chell rumored to be the daughter of the mastermind behind the Aperture science company. how she ended up as test subject is still unknown, wandering trough the test chambers hearing voices behind doors and observations rooms she figures out there is something wrong and a plot against her starts to reveal itself. but there is something even bigger threat lurking from around the corner.
You get guided by an A.I. named MARIS (Modular Assessment Recording Interface System)a predecessor of GLaDOS. she serves as a test recording unit and also has control over the enrichment center security system and all files ever to be recorded in the facility. she creates a bond with Chell and starts to rebel a bit against the scientists.
We can't tell you more but one thing is for sure, be prepared for many interesting plot changes and hilarious scenerios

sorry for not updating stuff when I should: 2 New Team members! First of all there's Batfrog, He has total control over audio so he will be editing voices, take the MARIS voice for example. The second new member is Rina-chan, a voice-actress with a beautiful voice just perfect for the MARIS voice! Let's party! and a (late) happy new year!

Opened a map design contest for everyone to show off there puzzle design skills and maybe (min. 5 maps) your map will get chosen and will get a place in the Portal Stories mod! We mostly made this contest because we are pretty much out of inspiration for new maps and we are missing about 5 more puzzle maps to put in the game. And of course this will be a great way to let the Portal Stories community grow! So if you want to enter the contest or if you simply want some more information about this matter, check the [map design contest page] for more info. the contest is apparently finished, but as of this moment new information is not available

Today we started this wiki page. expect some updates on both this page and the game soon! Also the first Beta has already been released for all beta testers, we are creating another beta version but this one is full of puzzles and a first look at the story!
